LSAT · Admissions · Law school skills

Law school rewards precision. Precision can be learned.

One-on-one work with Maximilian Smith, JD, a licensed Illinois attorney who spent more than a decade teaching and leading graduate test prep at The Princeton Review.

What I help with

LSAT

Logical reasoning and reading comprehension, built as a skill over weeks rather than crammed.

Law school admissions

Personal statements, addenda, school lists and timing.

Law school exams

Outlining, issue spotting and writing exam answers that earn points.

1L readiness

Reading cases, briefing and the study habits first-year courses assume you already have.

History and AP

AP World History and high school history, with an outline method that ties facts to sources.

SAT, ACT and study skills

Test strategy, plus the planning and review habits that make practice count.

How we start

"I'd rather not hand you a method before we know what the problem is."

  1. A free conversation

We talk about your goals, your timeline and what has or hasn't worked so far.

  2. A diagnosis

We look at your work together and find where the points are going, before choosing any method.

  3. A plan you can keep

Steady weekly practice, untimed first and timed later, with a review of every miss.
